Although Apple’s new Maps app in iOS 6 got a lot of bad publicity in the media the last few weeks, a survey of 4,300 iPhone 5 customers shows that it’s not really a problem. 90{813a954d5e225a1509f22204ece89c855080ce25555f20805f61bed63cbfde3b} of those surveyed by ChangeWave Research claimed they haven’t experienced any problem with Apple’s Maps app. 6{813a954d5e225a1509f22204ece89c855080ce25555f20805f61bed63cbfde3b} said they think Apple Maps is somewhat of a problem, while only 3{813a954d5e225a1509f22204ece89c855080ce25555f20805f61bed63cbfde3b} claimed it’s a very big problem.
It’s hard to make everyone happy, but it looks like Apple is doing a pretty good job so far with the new Maps app. It’s already saved me a lot of time with the much improved traffic information, it’s so much more accurate and gives more details than the previous Maps app.
