iOS Apps: Feedly Launches New Version, Appoday Makes MotoHeroz Free

MotoHerozWith so many iOS apps going into the App Store each and every day, it’s easy to miss cool titles you might otherwise enjoy. So let’s single out a couple selections, with a new Feedly for iOS landing today while MotoHeroz is Appoday’s freebie for Tuesday.

Feedly has announced the availability of an updated app for the iPhone, iPad and Android which brings Google Reader RSS onto your device in a sleek, stylish way.

“With Feedly, users not only have control over the sources they add to their reader, but they can organize them into sections, assign layouts (magazine, mosaic, individual articles), and change fonts,” the company notes in a press release. “In the same way that no two iTunes playlists are the same, no two feedlys are the same.”

Integrated with Google Reader, Instapaper, Pocket, Twitter and Facebook, the new Feedly offers a magazine-grade experience with a clean typographic grid, beautiful fonts, large visuals and bold colors — all for absolutely free in a slick universal app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Meanwhile, the folks at Appoday have scored a five-star app for its free offering on Tuesday with MotoHeroz, available in separate versions for the iPhone/iPod touch as well as an HD version for the iPad.

“MotoHeroz takes the fun, fast gameplay of a Trials style game, adds it to a frantic rally race, and delivers a fresh new kind of side-scrolling, platform racing game,” Appoday explains. “Players race, chase, and rally their way through a brightly colored world, competing against their friends for the fastest times, entering daily races, and hunting for secrets and coins.”

Inspired by the WiiWare game of the same name, MotoHeroz is available free via Appoday on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 only, so grab it while you can!
