In a note to clients — as reported by “CNET” — J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Moskwitz — the “iPhone 5” — expected to be unveiled tomorrow at a special Apple media event — will affect rival phone makers, computer vendors, wireless carriers and parts suppliers. How so? Moskwitz says the next gen smartphone will:
° Challenge other handset makers with the new phone’s battery performance, screen size, and form factor;
° If LTE-enabled, as expected, it could cause the PC industry to “could lose further ground to mobile phone vendors, hurting growth at such companies as Dell and HP.”
