Jonathan Ive to design limited edition Leica camera

Jonathan Ive, Apple’s design chief, will deign a limited edition Leica M camera, reports “PetaPixel” (http://macte.ch/Kjtwm). The announcement was made a special Leica event on Monday, during which the company introduced the new Leica M.

It will probably be pricey: only a single unit of the camera will ever be produced, notes “PetaPixel.” No other details were revealed.

The Leica M is the first M rangefinder to feature Live View and 1080p HD video recording. It’s also the first to use a CMOS sensor instead of a CCD one.
