How to Use Do Not Disturb Mode in iOS 6

iPhones have long been the offenders of waking us up in the middle of night with beeps, buzzes, and bright flashing screens. Fortunately, Apple has found a solution for those sleepless nights (and times when you’d rather just not be bothered) in the form of Do Not Disturb mode. When you place your phone in this mode, your device will remain silent until you’re ready to deal with notifications.

Schedule Do Not Disturb Mode

To have Do Not Disturb mode run on a schedule, navigate to Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb, and flip the Scheduled switch from Off to On.
