Apple on Tuesday teased a “one-day Apple shopping event” for Black Friday, November 23.
Black Friday, of course, is a day when retailers typically offer price-conscious consumers some sharp, post-Thanksgiving discounts. Apple says its day of deals will begin starting at midnight Pacific, several hours after you’ve digested most of the turkey. You’ll also, of course, be able to take advantage of the company’s deals in your local Apple Store—which will, the company says, be offering extended hours. And there’s always the Apple Store app for iPhone, too.
It’s impossible to predict precisely what discounts Apple will offer; the promotional page shows only a pair of Smart Cover-clad white iPad with Apple EarPods forming a faux bow. But if past is prologue, the company historically offers modest discounts on its own products and accessories, along with similar light discounts on third-party hardware and software.
