Update 6.0.2 was released today for the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini, fixing the WiFi connectivity bug that has plagued both devices since they were released.
The bug affected the connections and the speeds of WiFi on the devices. While it wasn’t an issue I experienced on my iPhone, my iPad mini has had a hard time connecting to WiFi since the day I bought it, making this a welcome update.
Apple’s update is currently being seeded over the air, so if you have an iPad mini or an iPhone 5, check the settings menu, go to general, and hit Software Update to see if it’s available for you.
