The newest update to Apple’s iOS operating system will be available to the general public in a short amount of time, as the newest update, iOS 6.1 beta 4 hit the airwaves for developers earlier today.
Apple’s 6.1 beta software simply says that it “contains bug fixes and improvements,” but that will include new updates to Passbook, some changes to Safari, movie ticket purchasing via Siri, and some updates to Apple’s mapping software.
The last update consumers received was iOS 6.0.1, which was released on the first November. Apple today also released a new preview of Xcode 4.6 and a brand new Apple TV beta for developers.
