Monotype on Tuesday updated its font management product for Mac, FontExplorer X Pro, to version 4.0. The new version now supports Web fonts (WOFF and EOT types), OpenType features and the company’s own SkyFonts technology. Additionally, the program is now available either as a standalone product or as part of the company’s Fonts.com Web Fonts subscription plans. A “mini view” and slide show feature have also been added, along with an improved main font list and enhanced “smart sets” functionality….
