Digital surveillance company D-Link just announced the launch of their newest remote camera. Thanks to the Pan & Tilt Day/Night Network Camera, users can monitor the goings on in their home from just about anywhere with the help of their iPad.
The Pan & Tilt is the newest in the line of Cloud Cameras offered by D-Link. It features a wide viewing angle, motion detection alerting, night vision and pan-and-tilt functionality with a range of 340-degree pan and 120-degree tilt. It has an expanded 66-degree horizontal field of view lens and the ability for users to remotely manage viewing angles.
“Our newest Pan & Tilt Camera provides the performance and features of a professional home or small business surveillance solution at a fraction of the cost,” said Daniel Kelley, vice president of marketing, D-Link Systems, Inc. “The combination of the pan/tilt functionality, color accuracy, motion detection alerting, night vision, and zoom, as well as remote viewing through our mydlink apps and portal, gives consumers and small businesses alike the most bang for their buck when compared to other security solutions.”
The mydlink + app lets users watch live video of the surveillance area that the Cloud Camera is covering. It features a four-camera monitoring dashboard that lets you see and hear what is happening at your home or office from anywhere you have Internet access. It is compatible with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The app lets you move your view around using gesture-based controls. You can even use your D-Link Cloud Camera and iPad to have a two-way conversation with a person on the other end.
D-Link’s new Pan & Tilt Day/Night Network Camera is available from the company’s website for $104.99. The mydlink + app is available for the iPad for $0.99 with no additional fees or subscription costs.
