Amazon Adds iPad and iPad Mini Support in Latest Cloud Drive Photos Update

I regularly take up 2 or 3 gigs of space, just on pictures and videos that I take. The best way to keep your photos under control is to save them in a cloud storage service and delete them from your iOS device before they get out of hand. Amazon has such a service that is specifically dedicated to photos and videos.

Today, the Amazon Cloud Drive Photos app has been updated to support the iPad and iPad mini. Now you can capture videos of your little ones opening their Christmas presents and save them to Amazon’s cloud service immediately. You won’t have to worry about losing your memories if something breaks.

According to Amazon’s support page, you an upload photos and videos to the Cloud Drive Photos app from your iOS device or from your computer. You can then access your media from anywhere, even offline.

Amazon Cloud Drive Photos 1You can manually upload your photos and video to Cloud Drive, or set up automatic saving from your iOS device’s camera roll. When you select Auto-Save, all pictures will be added to the cloud service immediately. You can also set up the app to upload videos up to 20 minutes in length from your device while you are connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi.

Amazon’s Cloud Drive Photos app includes 5 GB of free space. You can also easily share your Cloud Drive photos and videos with others through Facebook, Twitter, and email.

The app is available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch for free. Download it in the App Store today.
