I was checking out some games in the App Store today and happened to notice that Both Fluxx and Summoner Wars were both on sale for free. I know that Playdek, Inc. published both of those games, so I decided to do a little research and discovered that the company has put almost their entire line of games on sale for only $0.99 or free as part of their spring sale.
Playdek Inc. is probably best known for collaborating with Wizards of the Coast to launch the official D&D Lords of Waterdeep board game on iOS. However, the company also published Agricola, Penny Arcade The Game: Gamers vs Evil, and more. The company focuses on battle card and board game apps, some of which are digital versions of existing physical titles.
On April 18, all but one game went on sale. All but two of those games dropped to either $0.99 or free. Agricola and D&D were the only games to remain above one dollar.
The list of games on sale is as follows:
Agricola – On sale for$3.99. Normally priced at $6.99.
D&D Lords of Waterdeep – On sale for $5.99. Normally priced at $6.99.
Fluxx – Free. Normally priced at $2.99.
Food Fight iOS – On sale for $0.99. Normally priced at $3.99.
Nightfall – On sale for $0.99. Normally priced at $2.99.
Penny Arcade The Game: Gamers vs. Evil – On sale for $0.99. Normally priced at $4.99.
Summoner Wars – On sale for free. Normally priced at $0.99.
Tanto Cuore – On sale for $0.99. Normally priced at $2.99.
Additionally, some of the games’ in-app expansion items are also on sale, so if you currently play any of these titles, check to see if an expansion item you want is on sale.
If any of these games interest you, be sure to download them soon. Playdek’s “Spring Sale” ends April 28. The prices have been unstable over the past few days. Agricola went down to only $0.99 on Sunday, only to jump back up to $3.99 today, and Fluxx started off the sale at $0.99, but is currently free.
