ActiveDock tweak adds OS X like animation to iOS’s dock

ActiveDock tweak adds a visual hack to iOS that brings the iconic bouncing animation of OS X to iOS’s dock. It emphasizes mainly on increasing the iOS dock interface. It might not very surprising that the ActiveDock tweak has made the iOS dock look very much similar to its desktop counterpart as it is made by Surenix and Flippo Bigarella, who are well known members of the jailbreak developers community and have given us tweaks like Springtomize 2, CleverPin, PasswordPilot, Ayecon and more.

You might feel little astonished on the matter of fact that ActiveDock can undertake a lot of details in it. You will observe details like light indicators that will guide you specific app your dock is operating, and the blurred reflections imitates the OS X to a tee.

The tweak is so subtle and polished that it gets merged with iOS with best of perfection and after a few hours of installing it you won’t even remember that its not the part of iOS by default. Another significant thing is that you do not need WinterBoard while dealing with ActiveDock.

With ActiveDock’s pretty outlook, it also has amazing functionality. Checking into Settings app, you will see a kill switch and the bounce settings meant for dock apps. Whenever an app is launched from dock, it appears with a bounce because of bounce settings.   You can also set frequency for the bounce with interval settings like never, constant, 30 seconds, a minute, 1,5 minutes and the lists goes on.

ActiveDock tweak is available for $1.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo.
