We are less than a week away from the much-anticipated keynote address that Apple has scheduled for the first day of the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). As the days tick by, rumors of what the iPad maker will unveil continue to swirl. While we don’t know any official information regarding the content of the event, we do know that Apple will hold the keynote at the Presidio on June 2, at 10:00 a.m. PT. Today, we know one more bit of official information. Apple will live stream the keynote from a variety of devices for your convenience.
Just like last year’s WWDC, you’ll be able to watch the entire keynote from Apple’s website using Safari on your iPad running iOS 4.2 or later. You can also watch it directly from your Mac on Safari 4 or later, on a Windows PC running QuickTime 7 or later, and Apple TV running software 5.0.2 or later.
Apple is supposedly working on a home automation system for third-party iOS compatible devices, which may be demonstrated at this year’s WWDC. The long-rumored iWatch is also on the list of possible unveilings, as is the fourth generation Apple TV, which may or may not have motion detection, an accessible App Store, and more.
There are also some rumors, although slightly less believable, that Apple will launch the next generation of iPad Air and iPad mini, complete with Touch ID at next Monday’s event.
