Apple has just seeded the second beta of the upcoming iOS 6.1 to its registered developers and it is now available for download through the dev center. The previous beta was released two weeks ago and now Apple has seeded the second one. iOS 6.1 beta 2 carries a build number of 10B5105c. Those of you who want to try the new beta can log in to your dev center account and download it for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Apple has also seeded Xcode 4.6 developers preview 2 and new Apple TV firmware along with iOS 6.1 beta 2.
As iOS hacker @iH8Sn0w notes on twitter, iOS 6.1 beta 2 will expire on Friday, December 28th. iOS 6.1 beta 2 brings several performance improvements and bug fixes to iOS 6.1. Other changes include panorama support which was missing from previous beta, ability for users to download individual songs from iTunes match, and a new card for Passbook that explains the workings of the app.
