It’s official folks! Apple has sent out invitations for its special media event that will take place on October 23rd. Apple is well expected to announce the rumored iPad mini and new Mac models. The event will take place on a Tuesday in San Jose and will start at 10AM PT. The invitation graphics that Apple has sent to major media outlets has a tagline that says “We’ve got a little more to show you.”, that clearly hints at a smaller iPad which has been rumored from several years now.
Along with the 7.85-inch iPad mini Apple is expected to announce new models of Mac including new iMac, Mac mini, and a 13-inch Retina Display Macbook Pro.
iPad mini is expected to feature a 7.85-inch screen, dual-core processor, iSight camera, thin design, and much more. Previously alleged parts, schematics, release dates, pricing details, and other stuff has been leaked on the web that hinted towards the device’s launch and now this event invitation has almost confirmed the existence of the smaller iPad. With the announcement on October 23rd, iPad mini will most probably be released in November in the US and internationally in December, right on time for the holiday season.
As usual we will be covering the event here and will post all the news related to the event as it happens.
