Popular accessory maker Booq recently announced the launch of their new Booqpad for iPad Air. The company has successfully developed a line of iPad folios that are specifically designed for the business-minded user. The iPad Air case gives professionals a simple solution to secure their tablet while taking traditional pen and paper notes. Your boss won’t even know what you’ve got hidden in your folio until you show off your presentation.
The Booqpad for iPad Air is a tablet case and notepad in one. The multifold cover connects to a polycarbonate snap case using an array of magnets so you can quickly remove your iPad from the folio with little effort.
“The iPad can carry so much data we no longer need to haul large bags,” says Booq’s Lead Designer, S. Kema Subsomboon. “With the Booqpad we’ve created a mini briefcase for your device that gives users the ability to jot dot notes electronically or on paper and the option to remove their iPad from the main folio easily without foregoing protection.”
The polycarbonate back cover snaps onto the iPad Air for protection even when the tablet is not stored in the folio case. The multifold case features a wide range of magnets that makes it possible for you to display your iPad Air in a number of different positions.
Thanks to the case’s design, you can flip the front flap over and use it as a stand for low-angle iPad activities, like typing. You can also flip the entire front of the folio over to turn it into an upright-angle stand for watching movies or Facetiming with business associates.
The Booqpad for iPad Air comes in lustrous Grey with the company’s logo printed on the front flap in silver. It is available from the company’s website for $60.
If you were a fan of the original design of the Booqpad, you can still get that model, updated for the iPad air in black-stone Napa leather. The first-generation Booqpad looks quite a bit different than the new model, but still maintains a business quality that professionals will love. The black-stone model is available for $95 from the company’s website.
