ChargeCard for iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S – Review

ChargeCard

iPhone has become an essential part of life for millions of people and many people become extremely annoyed when they forget their beloved Apple smartphone at home or when they run out of battery while they are away from home. Sure you can carry a wire with you all the time and use it to charge or sync your iPhone if you are also carrying your laptop or you are at your office where computer is available. For people who carry backpacks or ladies who have purse carrying a wire with them is no big deal but for those who don’t have either this is not a perfect solution.

To help people with that problem a new device called the ChargeCard for iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S is released. ChargeCard first came under spotlight when it successfully raised $161K of its $50K goal through a campaign it ran on Kickstarter.

ChargeCard 1

ChargeCard for iPhone as its name suggests is a credit card sized device that enables users to charge and sync their iPhone by connecting it with a USB port. The ChargeCard features a thoughtful design that not only makes it easier for users to carry around but also usable for everyone.

ChargeCard aims to have a sweet spot in your wallet and for that it has worked pretty hard to keep itself thin. Of course ChargeCard isn’t exactly as thin as a credit card but its slimness does qualifies it to be a part of your wallet or pocket. ChargeCard for iPhone is 0.1-inches thick and that according to the makers of ChargeCard makes it the slimmest USB charger in the world.

ChargeCard 3

ChargeCard for iPhone comes in two models. One model features a connector for the iPhone models that have a 30 pin connector, which includes the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Then there’s a model that has a connector for the new lightning port of the iPhone 5. The iPhone 4/4S model is up for sale right now and the iPhone 5 model will be shipped in the month of May.

How ChargeCard for iPhone works is pretty simple. It features a flexible strip in the middle that sports the USB connector, which goes into the USB port of a computer. Once that port is connected to a power source users can connect the 30 pin connector to their iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S at which point the device will start getting charged and users will see iTunes popping up on their screen asking if they want to sync the device.

ChargeCard 4

ChargeCard simply replicates the function of a USB cable that comes with the iPhone however it does that with style and way more portability than you can get from a simple cable.

ChargeCard for iPhone is a must have accessory for all iPhone users and is highly recommended for those who travel a lot and have a laptop with them all the time.

You can get a ChargeCard for your iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S for $25 here. The iPhone 5 model will also be released next month and will sell for $25 too, pre-order here.
