Infuse 1.5

FireCore, the makers of the popular aTV Flash Apple TV software announced today that their media player application Infuse will be receiving a substantial update this fall as it hits version 2.0, with a completely new UI to match iOS 7′s design aesthetic, many new Pro features, and more.

FireCore claims every pixel in Infuse 2.0 has been redrawn, making the app feel completely new. Due to the changes made to the app, Infuse will now require iOS 7, taking advantage of many of the new features the new OS provides. In addition, the ability to browse and play videos stored on other devices, including Macs, PCs, or even NAS devices will make its debut in version 2.0, a much requested feature.

The 2.0 update, which will be free, isn’t quite ready yet, but in the meantime, FireCore has released version 1.5 of Infuse today, with features such as TV show groups for seasons with multiple episodes, forward and rewind gesture controls, subtitle toggling, saved playback settings, as well as many bug fixes and performance improvements.
