Funny or Die’s iSteve Postponed Due to Boston Bombing

isteve_jobs_forsiteComedy website Funny or Die made an entire movie in only a few weeks. The biopic based on former Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ life, iSteve, was originally scheduled to launch yesterday. Although there was no official airtime announcement, it was eventually delayed due to the tragic events that took place at the Boston Marathon yesterday afternoon.

Funny or Die will air the satire on April 17 instead and the website encourages visitors to donate to the Boston Red Cross under the iSteve advertisement banner.

If you’ve been waiting with bated breath to see Justin Long take on the complex role of the most beloved CEO, you’ll have to wait one more day. In the mean time, Funny or Die has released two new movie posters, one of which shows the actor who will portray Steve Wozniack.

Jorge Garcia, best know for his role as Hugo on ABC’s hit drama “Lost” is shown in the new movie poster wearing a suit, sporting some classic 1970s glasses, and holding an apple.

Since the iSteve trailer shows only about one second of actual footage of the upcoming film, there is now way of knowing who else will star in the parody biopic. Barring any unforeseen events, all will be revealed tomorrow.
