iBooks for iPad and iPhone has been updated today, to Version 3.1. This update is aimed at readers in Japan and readers of Asian language books. Here’s the full change list for it:
The iBookstore in Japan now has hundreds of thousands of books available for purchase, including fiction, manga, light novels and more. This version of iBooks also includes a number of improvements for reading Asian language books.
Great news for iPad users in Japan I think. As I mentioned here recently, I now do the vast majority of my reading in iBook – and I love the vertical scrolling feature that makes it more comfortable for me when reading.
I know we have some readers here from Japan – what do you think of this iBooks update? Is it a good as it sounds?
