IK Multimedia has announced iLoud (www.ikmultimedia.com/iloud), portable, battery-powered stereo speakers designed for musicians. There are two models — the iLoud (US$299.99) and iLoud MINI ($199.99) — which will be available later this year.
The iLoud model offers 40W RMS of power, and its little brother, iLoud MINI, a robust 12W RMS. The speakers are equipped with onboard DSP, for maintaining accuracy and efficiency at all volume levels, and custom-designed neodymium loudspeakers.
