by Apple demonstrated that it’s continuing to improve iWork for iCloud in the wake of the substantial overhaul last year with an update today that adds new features and upgrades the suite’s effectiveness when sharing files in real time among large groups of people. In addition, it increased the maximum storage size for files and docs.
As a result of the changes, users can now share single documents with up to 100 people (up from 50), and users now have the ability to create 2D and interactive graphs in any of the three associated programs. In addition, images up to 10MB in size can now be inserted into documents, and the document itself can be edited as long as it’s less than 1GB in size.
The update is also filled with smaller features that users have been asking for almost since the suite’s announcement, such as the ability to number slides in Keynote and the option to have different colors for alternating rows in Numbers. As a bonus, you can also now export spreadsheets to CSV. Similarly, Pages now supports object layering, inline tables and the ability to edit them, and the option to export to ePub.
