I love wall mounts for the iPad. It is my favorite place to keep my tablet stored when I’m not using it, and sometimes when I am using it. It looks great on the wall and is a convenient way to keep your expensive gadget off the countertop while you make a mess with food or crafting supplies. Juice is a sleek looking wall mount that doubles as a charger. All you have to do is mount it to your wall using your iPad cable and you’ve got yourself a charger and tablet display all in one.
Juice is a practical wall dock made from high-grade aluminum with an anodized finish that follows the same steps that Apple’s devices do. It features a removable cable holder so you can fit it with either a 30-pin or Lightning cable. Then, it mounts to your wall by either running the cable through the wall, or simply plugging it into the nearest outlet. The choice is yours, and so is the price.
According to the Juice Kickstarter campaign, the cost of wall docks is through the roof. Having one professionally installed is even more expensive, sometimes more costly than the iPad itself.
The point of this wall dock is that, because it is simple, it is cost effective to make, and therefore inexpensive to buy.
The exterior is made from anodized aluminum and the interior features thick foam material that adjusts to different iPad dimensions. If you have a second, third, or fourth-generation iPad, or the iPad Air (stretch goal), you will be able to display it easily. There is also a hole in the front of the mount so you can reach your Home button for access to the screen.
The Juice Wall Dock will retail for approximately $120 when it is made publicly available. However, thanks to the current running Kickstarter campaign, you can get one for as low as $65. Even though the makers of Juice are located in Germany, the cost of shipping will be free if you pledge to the campaign today.
