Most people have at least two different email accounts these days. Typically, the average person has a personal email account and a work-related email account. However, some have many more. There is the throwaway spam catcher, the eBay or Craigslist responder, and the secret one that no one else knows about. You get the idea.
Different email correspondences need different signature lines. The account you use to send messages to your boss should not include the silly joke you use in the account you send emails to your friends with. You can create a dedicated signature from different email services, but that doesn’t transfer to iOS. When you send messages from the native Mail app, the default signature line reads, “Sent from my iPad.” Frankly, that sounds pretentious.
Not only can you remove the “Sent from…” default signature line, but you can also have a different signature line for different accounts and we have a quick tutorial to show you how to do it.
Open your Settings app and select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” from the list. Then select “Signature” from the available options. Your current default signature will be displayed.
Select “Per Account” from the available options and then change the signature for each account individually.
That’s it. Once you have changed your signature line individually, they will appear automatically at the bottom of the email for each account in the stock Mail app.
