The Tuesday after a holiday weekend can sometimes drag on—everyone’s still getting back into their groove, and it can be tough to get back to actual work. That’s why a well-placed tune can improve your day; and if you rely on Pandora’s iOS app for those work-day tracks, you can now rock out to the sweet sounds of Daft Punk even in flaky connection areas, thanks to the app’s recent update.
Version 4.4 not only strengthens your streaming connection in areas with a bad connection; it also offers an auto-pause option when you mute your phone. Dance party in the elevator with your iPhone and Madonna? If you have to quickly mute your phone due to the intrusion of a co-worker, the song will pause in place; once that co-worker hops off, you can resume your dancing right where you left off.
The update also provides more links on artist and song pages, and a collection of unnamed bug fixes and improvements. The update is a cool 17MB; new and existing Pandora app users can pick it up for free from the App Store.
