Agilebit’s password security app 1Password has been in the news quite a bit lately. With the recent revelation of Heartbleed, the company dropped the price of both the iOS and OS X apps by 50 percent. Today, the company has launched the biggest update since 4.0 and it brings with it some fantastic changes that will make your password updating experience even simpler than before.
Even though it is not the most important aspect of the update, 1Password finally has the iOS 7 look that we’ve been waiting for. The program finally supports the iOS 7 keyboard, and has been completely redesigned to match the flatter look of Apple’s current operating system.
They are calling it the “Reimagined Edition.”
1Password for iOS is faster and stronger than ever with a better user interface for a more productive experience. Users can now search for logins from the categories tab, as well as under credit cards, secure notes, and more.
The app is now AirDrop compatible so you can send login or credit card account information using Apples near-proximity service. The details section on the iPhone version of the app is now easier to see and edit from.
The iOS Version also has the following updates:
Multiple Vaults & Sharing
If you create multiple vaults with 1Password 4 for Mac or Windows, you can now add them to 1Password for iOS and switch between them in Settings. Great for securely sharing items with team members or family, or simply for your own organization!
