Apple Said to Fire Maps Manager After Flaws Hurt IPhone 5 (Bloomberg)
Bloomberg reports that Apple has sacked the manager in charge of iOS 6’s Maps. Richard Williamson was supposedly ousted by senior vice president Eddy Cue, who took charge of Maps in the wake of Scott Forstall’s departure late last month. You know, this is a step up for Apple. It wasn’t so long ago that the company would have tried to fire the Washington Monument for not being two-dimensional.
