The wait finally over folks as Rockstar’s classic PC and console game Grand Theft Auto Vice City is now available in the App Store for download. The game is basically a full size port to iOS which means you will be able to have the same gaming experience on your iOS devices as you did with the console version. Although GTA Vice City looks very much like the version that is available for other platforms Rockstar has certainly added some graphical and gameplay improvements to the game too that make it even better.
For those of you who have never played Grand Theft Auto Vice City or any GTA game before, it is a gangster game in which you are free to go any where in the city. You can steal cars, kill pedestrians, go to bars, to public service missions, and of course complete the game’s story by performing assigned missions.
Rockstar released Grand Theft Auto Vice City for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch along with Android devices to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the console version of the game just like they did with the Grand Theft Auto 3. The iOS version of the game features new controls for the touch screen devices, better graphics, iCloud save game support, custom iTunes playlist, and more.
