Apple will release the fifth-generation iPad in March, according to Japanese blog Macotakara. The site has a mixed record when it comes to Apple rumors, so I wouldn’t put much too much trust in it yet.
An “inside source” tells Macotakara that the new iPad will be thinner and lighter, and look a lot like the iPad mini. The report indicates that the internals of the fifth-generation iPad will be the same as the fourth-generation iPad.
Macotakara also reports that Apple will release a Retina iPad mini in March with the A6X processor.
