Rumors continue to roll in about the design of the next gen iPad. Tactus.com published photos of a purported iPad 5-specific case mold and specs today.
The photos imply that the new iPad will have a the same screen size, but with thinner side bezels. Additionally, this design appears to mimic the iPad mini form factor by placing the speakers on either side of the Lightning connector.
Bear in mind that this case design likely stems from a manufacturer piecing together rumors about the new iPad specs rather than acting on information from Apple.
Tactus.com also claims the new iPad will go on sale June 27, 2013.
Traditionally Apple holds the WWDC in June, giving credence to the date speculation. What other changes can we hope to see from Apple at this year’s WWDC? Will they debut an iPad mini with retina display? Will we see the release of iOS 7? Stay tuned for more updates as new details emerge.
