The wait for iPhone is finally over for the customers of T-Mobile as the company has announced that it is going to offer iPhone 5 to its customers at an event called Uncarrier in New York. The company is offering iPhone 5 16GB model at $99.99 down and additional $20 per month for next 24 months. The pre-orders for the device will begin on April 5th and customers will get their iPhones shipped on April 12. Users will also have an option to pay the full price of their T-Mobile iPhone up-front.
Along with iPhone 5 T-Mobile is also offering iPhone 4S for $69.99 with same $20 per month for the next 24 months. iPhone 4 will also be offered to T-Mobile customers and will be available for $14.99 down and $15 per month for next 24 months.
iPhone 5 on T-Mobile will support all T-Mobile bands which include HSPA+ 42 and LTE.
T-Mobile officials at the event described their thoughts on iPhone’s coming to their carrier in the following words:
“This is an important day for people who love their iPhone but can’t stand the pain other carriers put them through to own one,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile USA. “We feel their pain. I’ve felt the pain. So we’re rewriting the rules of wireless to provide a radically simple, affordable iPhone 5 experience — on an extremely powerful network.”
