Turnplay for iPad Receives Major Update, Free for One Day

Turnplay

Turnplay, the most realistic turntable on the iPad, is available in the App Store for free today.

Turnplay usually sells for $1.99 and the app gives users an ultra-realistic experience of playing classic vinyl records on their iPads. The new update released today provides even more detail, new features, easier use and more.

New features available on Turnplay include:

Two New Methods of Playback – Shuffle and Queue: allowing users to automatically change tracks without having to open their Turnplay library to choose the next song. Users can play tracks one by one (Queue Mode) or in random order (Shuffle Mode)
When the “vinyl record” finishes playing, the tonearm now moves to the beginning of the record, the record cover changes and the next chart will start playing
The Library screen has been updated with additional buttons for queue and shuffle mode
The addition of an iTunes Match Hint: Turnplay will provide an alert when a track is stored at iTunes Match and instructions on how to play the track stored at iCloud.
