Looking to fill the room with big sound from your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device without wires of any kind? The folks at Ultimate Ears have just unveiled the latest member of its lineup that may just fit the bill.
Logitech-owned Ultimate Ears announced Tuesday the newest member of its speaker line, the UE Mini Boom, which the company bills as “a surprisingly small speaker that delivers unexpectedly huge sound.”
Available in your choice of five colors for $99.99, the UE Mini Boom is a compact, battery-powered speaker that streams from any Bluetooth-enabled device within a 50-foot range. With battery life up to 10 hours, the speaker also includes a micro-USB port for a quick recharge from almost anywhere.
The most clever part of the UE Mini Boom is its ability to pair two of the speakers together using a free app for iOS and Android, which allows listeners to double their sound in a big way.
UE Mini Boom is available in orange, purple, red, yellow or black and features a durable metal frame with rubber casing, perfect for home or travel. The speaker also doubles as a speakerphone for a connected smartphone, allowing calls to be answered or disconnected using a multi-function button.
